Can a team use "guest players" for this event? The tournament commite does not allow guest players for this event, as clubs and teams will be competing for the US Club Western Pennsylvania State championships.
How many divisions per age group will the tournament have in 2007? The West Penn Cup anticipates that each age group will consist of one Premier division.
How to Become a US Club Soccer Member? Non-member teams can participate in this event by registering as a US Club Soccer member at www.usclubsoccer.org. On the form, select “State Cup & Youth World Series teams” as the type of membership and select “West Pennsylvania Cup” from the “State Cup/World Series” drop down menu. Questions regarding becoming a US Club Soccer member can be addressed to Chris Baer via phone (614-854-0779) or email cbaer@usclubsoccer.org.
How will I know that I have been accepted? The tournament staff will send you and acceptance e-mail using the information provided in the application form. Teams accepted into the tournament will receive their acceptance packets on-line by returning to the tournament web site - instructions will be given in an acceptance e-mail which will be sent to all coaches and other team contacts the next day - no acceptance packets will be mailed.
I have misplaced my original registration forms. How can I get duplicates ? Downloadable versions of the form in Word and/or PDF file format were made available to you when your team was accepted and you confirmed your participation. If you need a duplicate form and have already confirmed, you will need your TEAM ID Number provided to you to access the forms. In the tournament website, log in with your TEAM ID Number, and the system will tell you that your team has already been confirmed. There will be a link to the page that contains duplicate forms. We recommend the use of the Word file format.
My club has the same coach for more than one team. Can you schedule those teams so that they don't play at the same time? We make every effort to accommodate requests like this, however teams MUST make alternate coaching provisions in the event this request can not be honored.
The application form does not look right on my screen (overlapping drop down boxes, long rows over the input fields, etc.) What is going on? First, you should let the ENTIRE form load BEFORE you scroll. It is a big form. In short, your computer does not have enough memory (RAM) available to render the form correctly. Here is the solution that will work in most cases: 1. Clear the cache (temporary files) in Internet Explorer (Usually Tools>Internet Options>Remove Temporary files 2. Shut down Internet Explorer 3. Restart the computer 4. Open JUST MS Internet Explorer. 5. Go to Web site, fill out form. In most cases, this will solve the problem....
We have medical release forms on file from our league play and/or recent tournament. Can we use these instead of the forms from the Web site? Yes, you may use your medical release forms, but they must be forms filled out from this season (2006/2007), i.e., you cannot use a form that was filled out for last season (2005/2006). All medical release forms must be notarized.
